Hanna Johnson

Physiotherapist

Hanna was born and raised in Calgary. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Kinesiology (with Distinction) before completing her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta in 2025.

Hanna grew up playing competitive soccer, rugby and volleyball. She also spent over a decade refereeing soccer, participating in high-level leagues and receiving invitations to officiate in national championships. After seeing the benefits of physiotherapy across various demographics in her life and experiencing it herself for sport-related injuries, she realized that pursuing a career in physiotherapy could blend her interest in the intricacies of the human body with her desire to help others. When it comes to physiotherapy, Hanna has a simple mission: to help others keep moving and participating in their activities the best that they can for as long as they can.

Outside of the clinic, Hanna enjoys spending time with her family and taking her four dogs out for long walks and hikes. She loves to listen to music of all sorts of genres and is always planning out which concert she can go to next. On the weekend you can find her at one of Calgary's great brunch establishments before she walks around and enjoys all the sights and pathways the city offers.
